Summer Internship Summary

SourceAbled is looking for innovative, passionate, and hard-working candidates to join our IT internship program for Summer of 2022! This is a full-time opportunity (40 hours a week) starting in Summer of 2022 that typically runs from May to August and lasts 10 to 12 weeks depending on the availability of the intern.

What You’ll Get To Do As An Intern

You will develop crucial and highly valuable technical skills as well as soft skills through the course of your internship. This is an opportunity to work alongside accomplished professionals and gain valuable skills for your future. Additionally, you will learn how we use innovation and technology to drive our business forward and through project work, job shadowing, hands on work experience, and exposure to leadership teams you will expand your knowledge and experience. 

  • Learning Industry standard Engineering best Practices.
  • Understanding Digital and Insurance Business process.
  • Developing Quality code for Customer Self Service (CSS) application.
  • Performs requested tasks alongside IT professionals who perform in these roles.
  • Working on Digital IT Growth Features development on Fast Quote.
  • Java Full Stack Development. 

Education Requirements

  • Pursuing a BA Degree or Master’s Degree program with an accredited college.
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering and/or related technical degree preferred.
  • You must be a student enrolled in an accredited college during the duration of the internship - Summer of 2022.

What You Bring

  • Completion of a software development school project a plus.
  • Familiar with the SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle. 
  • Exposure to different coding languages,
  • A passion for learning and development.
  • Experience, knowledge or an interest in IT.
  • Self-motivated, an excellent problem solver and a quick learner.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
