 Job Description

SourceAbled is seeking a remote direct hire .Net Application Developer - Document Processing and OCR Technologies for an insurance industry client.

This job is 100% Remote and a Direct Hire opportunity.

Job Summary 

  • Codes and unit tests instructions for computer programs and performs analysis to ensure efficient use of computer resources and that the program specifications are met
  • Recommends appropriate changes as necessary
  • Provides documentation for the written programs according to the standards
  • Works with business and responds to Production Support issues as required 

Essential Job Functions

  • Will be a .net developer on an agile team dedicated to supporting national document center
  • Will gain exposure to end-to-end document processing from customer sending documents all the way until filing to downstream applications
  • Daily work primarily focused on IBM Datacap and OCR: this will include customization 

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent 

Experience Requirements

  • .NET development experience required
  • IBM Datacap preferred; in absence of experience, candidate must be willing to receive training and certification on this platform
  • Document Processing Software & OCR technology understanding preferred
  • IBM FileNet experience a plus
  • IBM BACA experience a plus
  • MQ a plus
  • Systems integrations a plus  

Special Skill Requirement  

  • May require occasional travelling
  • Good written and verbal skills
